Knight Frank

Knight Frank is the largest independent property consultancy in the world and, by the nature of being a partnership, our decisions are made by and for our people with a focus on long-term impact.

Our purpose - to work responsibly, in partnership, to enhance people’s lives and environments - means that we empower our people to have autonomy in their role and encourage them to think differently about how we can make the difference through our work and behaviour. For our clients, our purpose drives us to provide innovative property solutions that add tangible value across a variety of sectors
and services.

A true partnership is a balanced one and we are committed to making our business inclusive, giving people the opportunity to perform at their best and be recognised for the individual value they bring.
Most importantly, we know there is so much we can do together to transform our business and the property industry. We invite you to be at the centre of that change and join a partnership defined by our people and the spirit of possibility.

DEI Programmes and Initiatives at Knight Frank

Being an inclusive organisation where everyone has a voice, is of critical importance to Knight Frank.

Will Beardmore-Gray, Senior Partner & Group Chair, said:

As a partnership we are defined by our people and we are committed to creating a balanced and inclusive business which gives people the opportunity to perform at their best and be recognised for the individual value they bring. To ensure we attract, recruit, promote and retain people from a diverse talent pool we have developed a range of initiatives to create opportunities for a broader group of leaders for the future.”

Please see below some of our other initiatives:

Business Balance - Our Business Balance groups - focused on Race & Faith, LGBTQ , Gender and Health & Wellbeing - continue to spearhead a wide range of issues for Knight Frank colleagues and host an active programme of well-attended topical events. Our groups, together with our external specialist advisers in employee culture and inclusivity, review our policies and procedures to provide guidance and support towards achieving our future objectives and how we become a more inclusive firm.

Enhanced Family Leave Policy - Following feedback through our employee surveys and drop-in sessions; we have launched a new family leave policy equalising enhanced family leave for parents of all genders. Parents will be offered the same opportunity to take up to 52 weeks of leave, at 26 weeks full basic pay. The length of service requirement has also been reduced from two years to one year. The aim is to allow everyone the same opportunity to enjoy this precious bonding time with their child in the early stages of their life, and be there to support their family. We hope that it will also help to better balance our business, reducing any potential unconscious bias in hiring / promotions, as all parents now have the same opportunities, to make the right choice for them.

KFX - Our UK-Wide KFX programme is a cross-divisional initiative with representatives from all backgrounds, levels and service lines, who are empowered to develop new ideas to help shape the future of Knight Frank.

Leaders for Today - We introduced our ‘Leaders for Today’ management training programme in 2021. This programme is designed to support our teams in developing their leadership and management skills across Gender, Race & Faith, LGBTQ, mental health, disability and wellbeing.
