Your future duties and responsibilities
As a PostgreSQL developer you'll join a collaborative team working on migrating a very large Oracle 11gR1 database and PL/SQL code to PostgreSQL in AWS Cloud. The role sits on one of our flagship accounts with a key client and this is a business critical role for the engagement. The role provides a great opportunity for you to work on a project that has a positive impact on UK citizens' lives, and helping to keep everyone safe.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You'll join a collaborative team working on the design components of systems code, document changes, follow established processes and conduct unit testing. Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and best practices.
Relevant commercial experience:
• PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL development experience
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Code conversion of PL/SQL to PL/pgSQL
• Data Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
• PostgreSQL Performance Tuning
Desired skills:
• AWS Cloud Services
• Code Migration Tools
• Data Migration Tools
• Git
