About the role:
The primary role is to develop and execute sales strategies for Okdo products, design/customization services, and value-added services (VAS). This involves working externally with Asia Pacific customers, particularly in Greater China, and internally with RS sales teams to convert opportunities into purchase orders and contracts. Additionally, the role involves managing and prioritizing Okdo OEM customers and channel partners to drive sales and profits, collaborating with central functions to fulfill Okdo and customer promises, and identifying new product definitions for Okdo's product and VAS portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for delivering sales and margin monthly forecast by Okdo Apac Sales team
- Deliver monthly sales & margin results in line with agreed Okdo sales & gross margin targets
- Discover, develop, grow and maintain a pipeline of new OEM customers, new products & design services opportunities, and Convert into purchase orders in line with expected time scales and growth targets
- Identify new business opportunities and drive standard product sales within the Okdo customer base in Asia Pacific
- Identify key competitor account opportunities and formulate plans to deliver and convert significant wins, ensuring maximum profitability from right product and services mix.
- Accountable for developing monthly sales forecast based on pipeline and opportunities on all Okdo customers in Asia Pacific
- Responsible for developing OEM, System Integrator sales strategies and activities needed to grow sales at Okdo customers in APAC
- Accountable for collaborating with the Okdo marketing, P&T teams and supply chain teams to drive strategies and activities to grow sales at Okdo customers in APAC
- Accountable for the execution of customer contracts & business agreements in relation to Okdo design services & other VAS services
- Accountable for regular input into the CRM system about all significant customer opportunities, key activity and information in relation to agreements, commitments, and delivery.
- Accountable for identifying new product definitions for Okdo's own product portfolio
- Identify new IDH (Independent Design House) partner to offer customization services based on Rock products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics
- Minimum 7 - 10 years technology business development and/or sales management experience in electronics products & design services
- Strong customer relationship management experience and a great relationship builder
- Ability to identify new OEM customers and new opportunities for electronics products
- Understanding all aspects of the customer sales engagement process including relationship management at customers, design requirements gathering at the customer, and key sales issues such as gross margin, profitability and commercial terms of a sales order
- Proficient in monthly/weekly sales forecasting, sales reviews, customer visit reports and CRM tracking
- Self-starter, able to work independently.
- Great communicator through speech and writing.
- Perspective and understanding of selling in key markets of Asia Pacific
- Demonstrates Change Agility, Resiliency, Drive for Results and Customer Focus
- Strong team player with ability to Collaborate and Connect with Others in a multi-channel multi-cultural environment
- Design Services as well as other VAS business knowledge
- Sales and sales management experience
- Knowledge of SBC business
- Work experience in Electronics and/or Distribution.
- B2B Web and E-Business experience
- Demonstrable track record in driving results & profit delivery from ROI standpoint
- Analytical experience and ability to interpret financial and sales data and results
