About the role:
Responsibility for optimising sales income from assigned territory, an RS field sales strives to become the first point of contact for a customer to address all their purchasing and service requirements. Primary focus is on building effective relationships within a specified group of customer to gain a clear understanding of current and future needs and drive significant incremental sales.

Primary focus is on building effective relationships within a specified group of customer to gain a clear understanding of current and future needs and drive significant incremental sales.
Key responsibilities:
- To effectively use the RS value proposition to differentiate RS from our competitors in the minds of their contacts;
- Proactively visit target customers per company requirements to explore new business opportunities and perform upselling activities to achieve sales target;
- Foster long term partnership with target customer group via sign-off of the strategic frame contract, Provide solutions to meet customer needs by the implementation of relevant and cost-effective value added services to elevate customer satisfaction and create new sales opportunities;
- Responsibility for the management of customer accounts with Territory sales revenue as per Sales targets, achieve other specified metrics that support sales results ;
- Perform pre-quotation review refer to the quotation guidelines and raise requisition to quotation coordinator for the support of quotation, follow up on conversion, work with pricing on CIM/CSP strategy
- Liaise effectively across functions to ensure customers are delighted, e.g. work with customer services in serving customer better and raising customer satisfaction rate (NPS)
- Support Finance for acceleration AR collection
- Comply with and implement all company policies and requirements including but not limited to Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook, EH&S, ESG, CI and etc.;
- Complete any other top-down task from company, such as participating product training, marketing campaign, CI projects, EH&S, and etc.;
- Other ad-hoc task assigned by manager or company.
Key requirements:
- Effective negotiator and influencer with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Naturally strong interpersonal skills forming and maintaining positive relationship at all levels
- Proven ability in delivering a great customer experience
- Key account management/project management experiences preferred
- Proven experience of working in an outbound sales environment, sales experiences in Industry/MRO/ELE preferred
- Exceeding KPIs and deadlines, able to work under pressure, target driven, takes accountability and initiative, innovative problem solving skills, independent.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills
- Disciplined analytical approach to problem solving
- Shows a desire to continuously learn and develop
- Takes ownership and is confident to take risks and learn from them
- Collaborative, shows respects to others and values differing opinions and perspectives
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft packages
- Does not disclose information to others and respects confidentiality of sensitive information.
