Lead Digital Implementation Specialist
Location: Hybrid (London or Corby)
RS Group is currently seeking a Lead Digital Implementation Specialist to join our team permanently. In this role, you will take charge of incident investigation and resolution, leveraging your expertise in digital and tagging domains to address business challenges. Collaborating with the wider team on digital operations, you will define and refine the backlog, ensuring a robust prioritization process and alignment with business priorities.

RS Group is currently seeking a Lead Digital Implementation Specialist to join our team permanently. In this role, you will take charge of incident investigation and resolution, leveraging your expertise in digital and tagging domains to address business challenges. Collaborating with the wider team on digital operations, you will define and refine the backlog, ensuring a robust prioritization process and alignment with business priorities.
What you'll be doing
- Define and implement tagging architecture across the Group's websites, with an initial focus on rs-online.com's delivery, performance, and maintenance.
- Lead and influence product owners, engineers, solution architects, and marketing owners in identifying and delivering solutions.
- Drive the selection of new tooling such as privacy and consent management and tag management.
- Serve as the primary contact for tagging solutions, collaborating with vendors and partners globally.
- Define and implement server-side tagging strategy and response to new digital platforms.
- Implement tagging solutions for new projects such as search, order management, and MyAccount, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and cookie policies.
- Manage the integration of incoming Customer Data Platform (CDP) and data technologies into the tagging estate.
About You
As a Lead Digital Implementation Specialist, you will spearhead the development of our digital tagging architecture and its implementation across our digital estate. Key qualifications include:
- Expertise in digital technologies, particularly in tagging technology's role in delivering experiences and performance.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, API (SOAP & REST), RegEx, jQuery, and JSON.
- Experience with tag management and related technologies like Ensighten, Tealium, Launch, GTM, and Observepoint.
- Familiarity with analytics technologies such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Content Square.
- Knowledge of marketing technology platforms like Google Campaign.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in gathering requirements and customizing solutions to meet internal customer needs.
