Field-Based, Full-Time Opportunity

Who you are and what you enjoy doing to be a success in this role:
- You are someone who enjoys accountability and the responsibility that comes with managing large, high-value accounts.
- You have previous experience overseeing growth in B2B accounts across the UK and have a proven record of adding real value to your clients' businesses.
- A people-person, you understand that successfully growing your accounts can only happen through developing strong relationships with your stakeholders and a 360 understanding of their businesses.
- You have previous experience of taking that 360 understanding to identify pain-points and challenges your customers are encountering and look to provide solutions to those issues.
- You are someone who not only has experience of working with multinational/large UK Plc's, but you enjoy the responsibility and the demands working with such organisations brings.
- The relationship you have with the stakeholders on your accounts is not purely transactional, and you work to ensure you create sustainable trusted partner relationships.
- Possessing an understanding of how to create customer need and opportunities, you are someone who takes a solutions-led, consultative approach to what you do.
- And to top it all off, you are definitely someone who holds a current UK Driver's Licence!
A bit about what you will be doing in this role:
You will be first choice for our customers, working to build effective networks at senior levels across a variety of departments to help create engagement and consensus across the board. You will also develop, negotiate, and implement great commercial contracts.To achieve these goals, you will need to:
- Develop and leverage constructive relationships within your accounts to gain access to decision makers and establish partnerships.
- Present solution proposals to decision makers and engage them through consultation to secure commercial partnerships.
- Provide quarterly business forecasts to highlight new opportunity, review contract performance against target and identify sales planning to secure contracted revenue.
- Work effectively with colleagues across the group such as Key Account Managers and Customer Relationship Managers to maximise opportunity for both RS and the customer.
- Review business opportunities for RS to utilise our service and solution offerings, aligning our ability to demonstrate value to our customers.
- Conduct internal and external research to identify customer's requirements and opportunities to develop future activity plans.
