Digital Merchandising Manager
Location: Hybrid - Corby

RS Group is currently seeking a Digital Merchandising Manager to join our team permanently. As a Digital Merchandising Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the merchandising plan for your assigned category.

What you'll be doing:
  • Optimize key customer journeys to drive traffic, maximize sales, and enhance conversion rates.
  • Track and report on category-specific digital metrics such as conversion rates, website visits, bounce/exit rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize customer experience (CX) tools to analyze customer behavior and implement enhancements to the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Merchandiser to align with the digital strategy for your product area and contribute to shorter-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews and walkthroughs of categorization, taxonomy, and navigation to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to improve user experience (UX).
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Digital teams to optimize product setup, attribution, images, product copy, and placement to meet customer expectations.
  • Create product copy to communicate key features and support SEO performance.
  • Identify and respond to new competitor and market trends by analyzing competitor activity and identifying trade opportunities.
  • Optimize search engine performance (paid and organic) to drive sales and conversions.

About you:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage data and insights to optimize the online customer journey, ensuring customers can easily find and purchase RS products and services.

Key skills required for this role include:
  • Demonstrated customer-centric approach in all aspects of the role.
  • People management experience.
  • Strong communication and commercial acumen, with the ability to present data and insights effectively.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce and the broader digital landscape in the B2B environment.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including content creation, copywriting, e-commerce, SEM, SEO, and online customer journeys.
  • Proficient in SEO principles and techniques.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confident decision-maker with a high level of accountability and ownership.
  • Analytical mindset with a curiosity to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for personal development and career progression.
  • Strong proficiency in web analytics.
