Role & Shifts
Temporary role, day or night shift available, full time, part time. Shift availability may vary.

All the applicants who are successful in the selection process will be employed by our agency partner, Challenge TRG Recruitment to carry out a temporary work assignment to Amazon. Challenge TRG Recruitment offers temporary contracts

Pay
£13.00 per hour for day time shifts.
£15.08 (£2.08 Night Shift Allowance) per hour for night time shifts.
£19.50 Overtime (40-50 hours)
£26.00 Overtime (50-60 hours)

Location
DME4 - Amazon Logistics (DME4) Unit 5 Panattoni Park, Bellingham Way, Aylesford, ME20 7DL

LCY8 - Amazon Sort Centre (LCY8) Unit 1, London Medway Commercial Park, Stoke Road, Rochester, ME3 9NS

Transport

Subsidised transport to LCY8 only, from Maidstone East Train Station, Chatham Trian Station, Gillingham Train Station, Gravesend Lion Roundabout, Gravesend Train Station and Rochester Train Station. Available in line with shift times. For more details, please follow this LINK.

Experience
You don't need previous experience, you'll get on the job training

What you'll be doing with your team:
• Unload, lift and relocate products
• Scan, sort and divert packages containing the full range of Amazon's products.
After training, you may also:
• Move products using industrial trucks and machines, like forklifts and power pallets.
• Work indoors and outdoors in the yard ensuring safe operations for the team and our delivery partners.

Skills you need:
• Your safety comes first. You must be able to follow safety, quality and production standards
• You may need to stand and walk for long periods during your shift, this could be up to/more than 8 hours per shift.
• You may need to be able to lift (products up to 23kg), bend, twist, kneel and crouch
• You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products.
