Key responsibilities:
  • Set up assumptions and data on the PALM model coded in RAFM, run the model and process output in required format as per user request form.
  • Interact with Mumbai team members and also the run requestors (Customers) to prioritise runs effectively without breaching any timelines and also to understand the purpose of the run when required.
  • Maintain an 'audit trail' and version control to demonstrate the adequacy of the spreadsheet controls for future enhancements to the product.
  • Draft and maintain up-to-date, appropriate documentation and checklists for any processes that are implemented.
  • Work in a structured and logical way with a lot of focus high degree of accuracy
  • Liaise with development, business and systems support teams
  • Ability to identify and understand business issues, and understand the impact on the business of proposed solutions
  • Seek and act on opportunities to develop technical and business understanding.
  • Compliance - Ensure understanding and adherence to M&G India's Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.

Problem Solving:
  • Ability to confidently express own viewpoint and to clearly and simply communicate actuarial issues within their team
  • Ability to develop clear, workable plans for self; monitor progress; ensure deadlines and commitments are met
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of technical requirements of job together with the framework in which M&G India operates

  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
  • Ability to deliver on multiple tasks to demanding timescales
  • Desire to stretch and work flexibly to meet business requirements
