Office Administrator
Hours: 28-35 hours depending on candidate, which can be worked across our office hours which are Monday - Friday 9:00-17:00
Location: Office based, Preston
Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 Full Time Equivalent (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Preston, Blackburn & Chorley Agency. We are looking for an administrator to join our customer service team. This crucial role involves supporting our team of insurance agents and ensuring that our day-to-day office operations run smoothly. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and conscientious who loves to be organised, naturally multi-tasks, solves problems, and can work using their own initiative.
This role is 100% office based, to ensure a quality service provision and a happy connected team. Salary and annual leave advertised is based on full time hours.
About the role:
• Managing the postage and despatch of renewal and other associated documentation
• Taking ownership of the internal customer accounts system including money collection, banking and customer premium management
• Overseeing internal post and email mailboxes
• Preparing regulatory documentation to meet compliance requirements
• Producing reports and documents using Microsoft suite and internal systems
• Answering incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors in the office and contacting customers
• Performing various administrative tasks, including maintaining and organising insurance policies, client records, and other essential documents
About you:
• Proven experience in an administration or customer service environment
• Excellent organisation, customer service and communication skills
• Detail-orientated and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Proactive and able to work under pressure to deliver results
• A high degree of personal initiative, responsibility and commitment
• GSCEs, including Maths and English at minimum grade C/equivalent and a working knowledge of MS Office systems
