Laing O'Rourke are currently recruiting for a Workforce Administrator to join the team in Dartford, Kent.

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months

Reporting line: you will report to the UK Workforce & Compliance Leader.

This role is based full-time in our offices - Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Role & responsibilities:
  • All administration for the function
  • Supporting the regional workforce managers with but not limited to - disciplinaries, grievances, AWOL, absence management, wellbeing
  • Organisation of formal procedure meetings i.e. disciplinary hearing, Grievance
  • Manage functional templates.
  • Manage Bupa for the workforce (as ops opt in and out)
  • Manage the workforce e-mail account.
  • Managing the EPL policy for workforce
  • Supporting workforce Administration for Hinckley Point
  • Supporting Legal with Tribunal packs
  • Liaising with different functions
  • Produces weekly and monthly Microsoft B.I reports for the business units.
  • Coordination of workforce forecasting both mid and long term.
  • Ensure the LOR recruitment processes for workforce are maintained.
  • Support workforce redundancy procedures across the projects
  • Main contact for the workforce landline.
Requirements:
  • Strong administrative experience.
  • Experience using all Microsoft packages including Power BI.
  • Construction industry experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Efficient, methodical with great attention to detail.
