Brief Description

What will you be doing?

Are you ready for a dynamic role where your technical prowess can truly shine? Your search ends here! We're actively seeking a skilled Technical Clerk to become a pivotal part of our forward-thinking team.

Role Overview: In this role, you'll serve as the Delivery Unit Lead on Safety Close Calls, responsible for meticulously reviewing and analysing close calls received. You'll work closely with various sections, providing invaluable support in closing and managing these incidents. Additionally, you'll take charge as the PRFS Fire Risk Assessor for the Delivery Unit and associated Depots, while also undertaking PAT Electrical Testing duties for the Manchester Area.

About the role (External)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse and present data to formulate insightful recommendations.

2. Offer technical and administrative support, ensuring smooth operations.

3. Source and compile data, records, and relevant information as needed.

4. Maintain and review publications, data, records, and logs as required.

5. Assist in preparing necessary outputs to meet organizational goals.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

Essential:

Possession of a Full UK Driving Licence.

Strong analytical abilities to dissect complex data effectively.

Excellent communication and organizational skills to facilitate seamless collaboration.

Proactive approach to work, with the ability to operate independently.

Desirable:

Familiarity with the operational railway environment.

Knowledge of other functional disciplines to enhance cross-functional collaboration.
