We are looking for a Streetworks Coordinator to join our team in Oxford!
As a Streetworks Coordinator you will be part of a small team and coordinate the delivery of streetworks.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with local authorities, internal colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure that streetworks are delivered safely whilst minimising disruption to communities.
- Ensure that all information relating to streetworks is accurate and up to date to ensure that all works are delivered in a safe and timely manner. Issue information to contract partners as needed to deliver reinstatement works.
- Provide useful updates and analysis to mangers in the region to support them in continuous improvement of our processes and performance management of their teams.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues to help them deliver safe and compliant streetworks whilst minimising the cost of delivering works.
- Ensure that all streetworks costs are reviewed and correctly allocated to projects or recharged to third parties where applicable.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- A knowledge of streetworks and knowledge of NRSWA permitting legislation.
- The ability to work well as part of a team and to build good relationships with stakeholders including local authorities.
- Well organised, able to accurately manage and update information on multiple active sites.
- The ability to make timely decisions in response to real-time streetworks issues.
- Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office software, including SharePoint and Excel.
