Reporting to the Snr Pricing & Promotions Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the key strategic initiatives across Pricing & Promotions, synthesising and communicating key insights, and engaging stakeholders to secure buy-in.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

Your key accountabilities will include
- Act as a consultant on pricing and promotions strategy to other functions, develop frameworks and tools that help to deliver a consistent and data-led approach to pricing and promotions management and be an ambassador for strategic analysis and data-led decision making across the business.
- Drive key strategic pricing and promotions initiatives for the Food business e.g. Remarksable value, Dropped & Locked campaigns
- Form close working relationships with Trading teams to influence the development of a strategic approach to pricing and promotions, providing insight and pricing/promo recommendations
- Working closely with trading teams and external suppliers to maximise and improve the accuracy of our data and product matches to better reflect our true price position in the market.
Your skills and experience will include
- Experience in Pricing & Promotions
- Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders, developing robust processes, eye for detail and ability to articulate findings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an excellent attention to detail and focus on quality/accuracy of output
- Analytical thinker with the ability to dissect complex problems and generate innovation solutions, including advanced Excel (e.g. logic, modelling)
- Desirable - experience with coding and querying large data sets (e.g. SQL, Python)
