Homebased - Flexible, United Kingdom


Executive Level 3 - £73,150 per annum

Contracted Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week. Job-share will be considered. Talk to us about compressed hours.

Contract Type: Permanent

Location:  Home-based or Office-based, flexible location.

If you’re looking to develop and inspire a brand-new campaigns function designed to help us achieve our goals and demonstrate real impact in our campaigns, this is a brilliant opportunity for you. You’ll lead a talented team of communicators, develop overarching campaign strategy and oversee campaign activity across a wide range issues and audience groups. You’ll love working on challenging and innovative projects, from encouraging the public to share their feedback on care and raising awareness of our annual State of Care report, to promoting understanding of what great care looks like in different services such as maternity, dementia and learning disabilities. You’ll be part of Engagement’s senior management team, striving every day to make CQC a great place to work, encouraging learning and development, equality, diversity and inclusion, as well as shaping Engagement’s business plan and strategic goals.

What you will bring…

We’re looking for an experienced leader who combines great strategic communication and engagement knowledge right across the comms mix, with the ability to lead and inspire teams. You’ll be able to influence decision making at the most senior level and build advocacy beyond organisational boundaries. You’ll also be a trusted advisor to executive leadership and Board members. You’ll have a focus on impact and outcomes, inspiring the Campaigns team to continuously improve and create an environment where people are empowered to be creative, innovate and collaborate. Alongside your professional communication skills, you’ll be a visible leader on organisational priorities, working with peers to develop the talent, skills and resources across the Engagement team for maximum impact.
