The team

The Transformation Management Office is responsible for ITV's ongoing transformation, on behalf of the Management Board. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes and making sure we're prioritising the people side too.

The role

We are recruiting for a Business Change Manager to manage changes to our HR processes and ways of working, including the rollout of additional functionality in Oracle Fusion and changes to the way we deliver HR services. In particular, this role will focus on managing what these changes mean for colleagues across ITV.

As a Business Change Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering the business change approach. You will use best practice principles for managing the delivery of Change, Communications and Training using a human centric approach and winning hearts and minds.

Whilst this role will have ownership of the overall business change approach and plan, they will work closely and consult with the Change Manager for our HR / People team.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
  • Develop, and own the delivery of, the business engagement approach for the programme; the strategy, vision, planning, and deployment of change should consider all areas of ITV and reflect a colleague-centric ethos.
  • Develop and deliver key business change activities such as: impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, end-user support, and transition.
  • Lead the delivery of the business change plan for the programme to budget and time; coordinate delivery timelines, manage interdependencies and delivery milestones with the ITV Together HCM Project Manager, contain and resolve issues within the programme governance.
  • Design and manage a process to measure the readiness and effectiveness of business change.
  • Understand and manage stakeholders' requirements and expectations to ensure stakeholder understanding and buy-in.
  • Create and maintain a strong relationship with other teams (e.g. Internal Communications, Continuous Improvement) to ensure project engagement activities are aligned to ITV guidelines and plans.
  • Support ongoing development of ITV change methodologies and materials to build change capability.
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
  • Demonstrable experience of owning Change activity for transformation programmes within complex organisations
  • Maturity of skills and breadth of experience in change management principles, methodology and tools
  • Experience of working closely and influencing senior stakeholders and programme sponsors (to Board level)
  • Experience in business change where the reliance has not been solely on top-down mandate from the Leadership team
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present to and engage teams at all levels
  • Strong consultative, relationship management, networking and influencing skills
  • Preferable: experience within a media organisation
  • Preferable: experience as a management consultant
  • Preferable: experience working with HR teams / a knowledge of HR processes
