About the role
Short but sweet, an introduction to the property industry by the people who know it the best. Based in London, the outskirts of London, or one of our country locations, you’ll learn the ins and outs of the property world.
Working in one of our lettings or sales offices over a 12-week period (JUNE-AUGUST), you’ll support our teams during one of the busiest periods of the year. If you enjoy being in front of clients, thrive on being given responsibility from day one, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this might be the role for you.
During the 12-week placement, there will be networking events, extensive exposure to real clients and opportunity to work with industry experts. In this time, you will have access to our Early Careers team to discuss future roles and schemes. Pre-existing knowledge of real-estate isn’t essential because we’ll equip you with all the tools for success.
To be successful, you will need:
- Confidence and enthusiasm, with the passion to excel in residential property
- A fascination with property, keeping up to date with the real estate market and current developments
- A strong desire to develop great people skills in your career, as communication and relationship building is at the heart of what we do
We have multiple locations across London. If successful you will be asked for your office preference
About you
With a passion for property, and the ambition to become an expert in the property sector, you’ll be working towards a 2.1 degree in any subject. A RICS accredited degree would be a bonus, but if your course wasn’t RICS accredited, no worries.
More than anything, you’ll be a true team player ready to dedicate yourself to the role. This is a fantastic opportunity to prepare yourself for a career right at the heart of the property industry
Eligibility Criteria
- A minimum C/4 and above in GCSE Maths & English Language
- 1 A-levels/equivalent e.g. Scottish Higher, International Baccalaureate
- Studying towards a degree in any subject, predicted 2:1 or above

Please see below some of our other initiatives:
Business Balance - Our Business Balance groups - focused on Race & Faith, LGBTQ , Gender and Health & Wellbeing - continue to spearhead a wide range of issues for Knight Frank colleagues and host an active programme of well-attended topical events. Our groups, together with our external specialist advisers in employee culture and inclusivity, review our policies and procedures to provide guidance and support towards achieving our future objectives and how we become a more inclusive firm.
Enhanced Family Leave Policy - Following feedback through our employee surveys and drop-in sessions; we have launched a new family leave policy equalising enhanced family leave for parents of all genders. Parents will be offered the same opportunity to take up to 52 weeks of leave, at 26 weeks full basic pay. The length of service requirement has also been reduced from two years to one year. The aim is to allow everyone the same opportunity to enjoy this precious bonding time with their child in the early stages of their life, and be there to support their family. We hope that it will also help to better balance our business, reducing any potential unconscious bias in hiring / promotions, as all parents now have the same opportunities, to make the right choice for them.
KFX - Our UK-Wide KFX programme is a cross-divisional initiative with representatives from all backgrounds, levels and service lines, who are empowered to develop new ideas to help shape the future of Knight Frank.
Leaders for Today - We introduced our ‘Leaders for Today’ management training programme in 2021. This programme is designed to support our teams in developing their leadership and management skills across Gender, Race & Faith, LGBTQ, mental health, disability and wellbeing.
