Job Details
Laing O'Rourke, C/O of Select are looking to recruit a receptionist / Concierge to join our team at our manufacturing centre of excellence in Worksop.
This role will be a public facing meeting and greeting visitors, client representatives and facility management in addition to manning the reception desk and answering the main switchboard. The receptionist will offer a service to ensure that all facility administration is kept in an organised and methodical manner whilst complementing the operations of the site team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a front-line support to employees and visitors to the facility, providing a professional and friendly service ensuring a warm and welcoming experience,
- Issue and creation of visitor ID passes ensuring security compliance,
- Working closely with the facilities team ensuring any secretarial tasks are completed,
- Monitoring of CCTV, Alarm and building management systems for escalation,
- Provide general administrative support in the safe and efficient running of the facility,
- Organise and prioritise own workload to provide effective planned support for the facility.
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing.
- Very competent and confident using computers and MS applications,
- Courteous, professional manner with a calm, vigilant approach to multiple duties
- Works as One Team - Respects and co-operates with the team, sharing problems and accepting support. Adopts a friendly and approachable manner.
- Conscientiously delivers for customers, planning ahead and prioritising own workload.
- Ideally experience within a similar role and prepared to undertake Security training for the role.
