We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Head of Data Engagement and Execution to play a key role in accelerating and scaling VMO2's Data Democratisation initiative. In this role, you will be a driving force in putting our data strategy into action, ensuring efficient execution of data initiatives, and maximising the adoption and impact of data solutions across the organisation, with a strong focus on elevating technical excellence and accelerating the performance of our technical teams.

This individual will Co-lead the Technical Excellence squad, promoting best practices and accelerating execution within BI&A teams and other data-related functions.

As a senior manager within the Data Democratisation function you will be responsible for the development and delivery of engaging training programs and workshops on data tools, technologies, and best practices in partnership with the Data University team.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, and data quality best practices.
  • Experience in operationalising data strategies and driving data adoption initiatives.
  • Demonstrable experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau) and self-service analytics platforms.
  • Previous experience with a Centre of Excellence, Data University or similar internal initiative focused on fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within data teams.
  • Able to create and curate user-friendly documentation, tutorials, and support materials to empower users to effectively leverage data resources.
