Business Disability Forum

Evenbreak has a strategic alliance with Business Disability Forum, giving great benefits for inclusive employers (including saving money on Evenbreak!)
Business Disability Forum is a not-for-profit member organisation that makes it easier and more rewarding to do business with and employ disabled people. They have more than twenty years experience of working with public and private sector organisations, formerly as the Employers’ Forum on Disability. Members employ almost 20% of the UK workforce and, together, we seek to remove the barriers between public and private organisations and disabled people.

Business Disability Forum provides pragmatic support by sharing expertise, giving advice, providing training and facilitating networking opportunities. This helps organisations become fully accessible to disabled customers and employees. Crucially, members of Business Disability Forum are entitled to a 10% discount on unlimited advertising with Evenbreak - a saving of £900 a year!

Disability Horizons

Founded by two disabled guys in 2011, Disability Horizons publishes articles on a wide variety of topics, all to support the aim of a world where disabled people live exactly as they choose to. All articles are sourced directly from its community of readers, and all team members are disabled, have a long-term health condition or a close connection with disability, making Disability Horizons a lifestyle publication about disabled people, for disabled people. At its heart, Disability Horizons aims to inform, entertain and connect disabled people together.
Having also seen how great products and services can make a real difference to disabled people’s lives, in January 2020 it launched an online shop selling a curated range of disability products that are innovative, stylish and truly valuable, all from trusted suppliers. All products sold have been selected through recommendations from its community of readers and based on the team’s experiences over the years.

It also works with companies to help connect them with disabled people through its magazine, social media platforms and newsletter, to ultimately create fully inclusive services and products across all sectors.

Getting on Board

Getting on Board is a charity that supports people to volunteer as charity trustees, particularly those who are currently under-represented on trustee boards. That means supporting helping more women; people of colour; young people; people with disabilities; LGBTQI people; people with a diversity of lived experience; and so many others to become trustees.
